InternWare - Internship Cell of IITM annually organises the GD Competition for the student masses at large to inculcate the corporate environment into the students. Group Discussion (GD) round is one of the most crucial rounds in any recruitment process, as it prepares you for a corporate life where you'll have to be excellent at speaking skills, efficient in interaction with bosses and clients, lead meetings and much more. It improves your thinking, listening and speaking skills.
As the name suggests, it is a discussion on a given topic where members arrive at a conclusion within the group in the specified time limit. It won't be fruitful if members are passive; they must be active both in listening and sharing.
The entry fees for the GD competition 2021 is Rs. 25/- only. The Top 3 winners will get trophies as well as exciting prizes. Furthermore the Top 10 participants will be rewarded with the Golden ticket and all participants will be given digital certificates for the event. The Golden Ticket will act as a bonus for the students as it will skip out the GD’s in InternHunt 4.0 and leads them directly to the Personal Interviews.
